Shereen is originally from the United Kingdom, where she worked as a Family Law Solicitor before moving to the United States in 2003. She is qualified to practice law in London, New York, and Maryland and has extensive experience in all aspects of family law. Shereen’s passion for family law and decades of experience make her an invaluable asset for her clients. Shereen’s ability to empathize with her client’s circumstances while fiercely protecting their interests is a trait that her clients value most.
Shereen currently handles divorce, custody and other family law litigation matters across the State of Maryland. She also handles the drafting and negotiation of Marital Settlement Agreements, Custody Agreements, Prenuptial Agreements, Postnuptial Agreements and other types of family law agreements. Shereen’s extensive experience practicing in both the United Kingdom and United States allows her to bring a unique perspective to her clients which few others have.
Shereen has a strong interest in multi-cultural divorce and a passion for endangered and rare languages. Prior to earning her law degree, Shereen studied Modern Arabic at the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom. Shereen has also studied the language of her ancestors, ‘Scottish Gaidhlig’ and is now semi-fluent in this historical language. When Shereen is not pondering grammar, she enjoys hiking mountain trails and spending time with her three boys.
