Diane “Di” Goodman is a dedicated and well-respected family law attorney who has been practicing in Anne Arundel County and surrounding jurisdictions for many years. With the Greenberg Legal Group, Di focuses her practice on family law mediation for divorce, custody and other family law matters. As well as being a licensed attorney in Maryland, Di is a certified family law mediator and has worked in community mediation through Anne Arundel County. Di’s unique and compassionate approach to problem-solving allows her to provide creative and practical solutions for her clients.
A graduate of Johns Hopkins University and University of Baltimore School of Law, Di spent 19 years as general counsel with an international recycling firm. Her expertise as a negotiator and arbiter was recognized for her ability to bring warring parties to commercially viable solutions on both sides.
After a sale of the business she worked with in 2013, Di joined a local general practice firm as a litigator and began handling the family law cases that the more seasoned attorneys avoided. It was in her early family law cases that Di began to apply techniques used in business to preserve ongoing relationships, even in the most contentious situations. Di’s practice now is devoted to mediating family law matters. In her mediation practice, Di imparts on her clients a level of mutual respect and communication that can survive a difficult custody or divorce with discretion and calm.
Di is also a master yoga instructor and certified mindfulness meditation teacher. She uses these skills that she acquired through her training not only in her family law mediation practice, but also as a volunteer in local jails and detention centers. Di’s unique professional experience and background gives her a skillset which is invaluable to her clients.
